Mouse Transferrin Receptor 2 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Transferrin Receptor 2 (TFR2) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with a biotinylated anti-TFR2 detection antibody and HRP-avidin, with signal development by TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Reported sensitivity is <0.61 ng/ml with an assay range of 1.56–100 ng/ml, and the complete protocol takes approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components should be stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as indicated.

Validation data include recovery and linearity testing across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5 each). Average recovery was 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Linearity was demonstrated at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16, with reported values spanning 74–108% across sample types and dilutions.
