Mouse Transferrin ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Transferrin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids.

The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an antibody specific for Transferrin. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by incubation with Biotinylated Anti-Transferrin Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. The reaction is visualised using TMB substrate solution, and the colour change is measured at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. The quantitative product range is 7.81-500 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <2.64 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m.

Reported values for serum (n=5) range from 80% to 102% with an average of 91%, for EDTA plasma (n=5) from 81% to 100% with an average of 90%, and for heparin plasma (n=5) from 80% to 89% with an average of 84%. Kit components include a pre-coated 96 well microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer (30X), sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Components should not be used past the expiration date.
