Mouse Topoisomerase II ELISA Kit

Designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Topoisomerase II alpha, this sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is suitable for tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for the target. Standards and samples are added to the wells; bound Topoisomerase II alpha is detected using a biotinylated anti-target antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a colour change read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. Sensitivity is quoted as less than 0.116 ng/ml across a measuring range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, and the full protocol takes approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery is 80–102% in serum (n=5, average 91%), 81–100% in EDTA plasma (n=5, average 90%), and 80–89% in heparin plasma (n=5, average 84%).
