Mouse Toll Like Receptor 6 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Toll Like Receptor 6 (TLR6) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), a biotinylated anti-TLR6 detection antibody, and an HRP conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and TLR6 concentration is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

Two manufacturer specifications are provided. One reports a standard curve range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, a sensitivity of <0.125 ng/ml, and an assay time of 4 h 30 min. The other reports a range of 0.313–20 ng/mL, a sensitivity of <0.188 ng/mL, and a 4-hour assay time. The second source states the kit is specific for TLR6 with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants. Both sources provide serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma recovery data across dilution series, with average recoveries such as 91% in serum and 94% in serum, and linearity retained across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions.
