Mouse Tissue Inhibitors Of Metalloproteinase 3 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Tissue Inhibitors Of Metalloproteinase 3 (TIMP3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 × 8 well strips) with an immobilised capture antibody specific for TIMP3. Standards and samples are added; after incubation and washing, a biotinylated anti-TIMP3 detection antibody is introduced, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colour change is measured as absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the TIMP3 concentration is calculated against the standard curve. The assay has a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, a sensitivity of <0.051 ng/ml, and a total run time of 4 h 30 min.

Spike-and-recovery ranges are reported for serum (80–102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (81–100%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (80–89%, average 84%, n=5), with dilution linearity data available across 1:2 to 1:16 sample dilutions. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed in the protocol.
