Mouse Tissue Inhibitors Of Metalloproteinase 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Tissue Inhibitor of Metalloproteinases 1 (TIMP1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, an immobilised capture antibody specific for TIMP1, a biotinylated anti-TIMP1 detection antibody, and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of an acidic stop solution, and the absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a stated product range of 78.1–5000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <27 pg/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Sample validation data are provided for serum (n=5, 80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, 81–100%, average 90%), and heparin plasma (n=5, 80–89%, average 84%), along with dilution linearity (1:2 to 1:16) across these three sample types.

Kit components include the pre-coated 96-well microplate, two vials of lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, a 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and adhesive plate sealers, stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.
