Mouse Tissue Factor Pathway Inhibitor ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Mouse TFPI ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Tissue Factor Pathway Inhibitor (TFPI) in plasma, urine, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip format, with a colorimetric readout measured at 450 nm in a microplate reader and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. The method uses an antibody specific for TFPI pre-coated onto the plate, with captured TFPI detected using a Biotinylated Anti-TFPI Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the resulting yellow product's absorbance is proportional to TFPI concentration.

Reported performance: sensitivity <33 pg/ml; assay range 78.1-5000 pg/ml. Average recovery values (n=5) are: Serum 80-102% (average 91%), EDTA Plasma 81-100% (average 90%) and Heparin Plasma 80-89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) for Serum (n=5) is 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97%; for EDTA Plasma (n=5) 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108%; and for Heparin Plasma (n=5) 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91%.
