Mouse Tissue Factor ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Tissue Factor in plasma. The kit uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Tissue Factor. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where Tissue Factor is bound by the immobilized antibody. After incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Tissue Factor Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and further incubation.

TMB substrate solution is then used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, and the Tissue Factor concentration is calculated by reference to a standard curve. The kit reports a sensitivity of <2.31 pg/ml and an assay range of 6.25-400 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

Validated recovery data include Serum (n=5, 80-102%, average 91%), EDTA Plasma (n=5, 81-99%, average 90%) and Heparin Plasma (n=5, 80-89%, average 84%), with linearity data reported for sample dilutions of 1:2 through 1:16. The kit is supplied with a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard, detection solutions, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers; components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and should not be used past the expiration date.
