Mouse TIMP-4 ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com assay is a 4-hour sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse TIMP-4 (also referred to as Metalloproteinase inhibitor 4 or Tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases 4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. A pre-coated microtiter plate is used together with a biotinylated detection antibody specific for TIMP-4 to form a sandwich complex, which is then visualised using an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit is validated for mouse reactivity with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants. The quoted product range is 62.5-4000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of <37.5 pg/mL. Serum and plasma samples should be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer prior to testing, and validated sample dilutions include healthy serum (1:2-1:4) and healthy plasma (1:2-1:4). Recovery ranges have been established for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.

Supplied components include the pre-coated plate, lyophilised standard, sample and antibody dilution buffers, biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, SABC dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, wash buffer and plate sealers, with kit components stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol manual.
