Mouse Thyroxine Binding Globulin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Thyroxine Binding Globulin in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique using a pre-coated 96-well microplate. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-Thyroxine Binding Globulin detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a yellow product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with the target concentration calculated against a standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is 0.145 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery has been evaluated in mouse serum (n=5, average 91%, range 80-102%), EDTA plasma (n=5, average 90%, range 81-100%) and heparin plasma (n=5, average 84%, range 80-89%). Linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across the same sample types. Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage temperatures specified per component between +4°C and -20°C.
