Mouse Thrombospondin 4 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse THBS4 (Thrombospondin 4) in plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), a biotinylated anti-THBS4 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The reported analytical range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.125 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 h 30 min.

Kit components supplied include the pre-coated microplate, 2 vials of lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A and Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and adhesive plate sealers. Reagents are stored at +4 °C or -20 °C as instructed. Validation data in the product literature report average recoveries of 91% (range 80–102%) for serum, 90% (range 81–100%) for EDTA plasma and 84% (range 80–89%) for heparin plasma, with linearity reported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for each matrix.
