Mouse Thrombospondin 3 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Thrombospondin 3 (THBS3) in plasma. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and a colorimetric detection method, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of <25.3 pg/ml and an assay range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml, with a total incubation time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been validated in EDTA plasma (81% - 100%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (80% - 89%, average 84%, n=5), with linearity assessed across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. The detection principle uses a biotinylated anti-THBS3 antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the yellow product formed after stop solution addition is proportional to THBS3 concentration and is quantified against a standard curve.

Kit reagents include the pre-coated plate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated in the package insert, and the kit should not be used beyond its expiry date.
