Mouse Thrombomodulin ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative measurement of mouse Thrombomodulin in plasma samples. The kit exhibits reactivity with mouse specimens and is intended to be read on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The workflow uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Thrombomodulin. Standards and test samples are added to the wells and the target analyte is captured by the immobilised antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Thrombomodulin Antibody binds the captured analyte, and HRP-Avidin conjugate is added. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is measured at 450 nm and the Thrombomodulin concentration is calculated against the standard curve. The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.68 ng/ml, a measuring range of 1.56–100 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date. Reported validation data (n=5) include recovery ranges of 80–102% for serum (average 91%), 81–99% for EDTA plasma (average 90%) and 80–89% for heparin plasma (average 84%).
