Mouse Thioredoxin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Thioredoxin/TRX in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), with a biotinylated anti-Thioredoxin/TRX detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with the intensity of the yellow product proportional to the amount of analyte captured in each well.

The quantitative assay range is 62.5-4000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 21.3 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Sample recovery has been evaluated across matrices. Serum (n=5) shows an average recovery of 95% across 90%-101%; EDTA plasma (n=5) shows 95% across 91%-99%; heparin plasma (n=5) shows 94% across 90%-99%. Dilution linearity is reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions.
