Mouse Thioredoxin Binding Protein 2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Thioredoxin Binding Protein 2 (TXNIP) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The kit uses a 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) pre-coated with anti-TXNIP capture antibody, together with a biotinylated anti-TXNIP detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The quantitative assay has a working range of 0.312-20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.114 ng/ml, completed in 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery in serum (n=5) was 80%-102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5) 81%-100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma (n=5) 80%-89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was demonstrated for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Components are held at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
