Mouse TEK Tyrosine Kinase, Endothelial ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse TIE2 (TEK Tyrosine Kinase, Endothelial) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique: a TIE2-specific antibody is pre-coated onto the microplate wells, standards and samples are added, and captured TIE2 is detected using a biotinylated anti-TIE2 antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that converts to yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution.

Reported performance specifications include a sensitivity of 0.062 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with colourimetric detection by measurement of optical density at 450 nm in a microplate reader. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. In spike-and-recovery testing (n=5), average recoveries were 92% in serum (range 84–100%), 91% in EDTA plasma (range 83–99%), and 93% in heparin plasma (range 85–101%). Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

The kit is intended for research use only. Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solution A, detection solution B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers.
