Mouse Talin ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Talin 1 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Talin 1; standards and samples are added to the wells and Talin 1 is bound by the immobilized capture antibody. Following incubation, a Biotinylated Anti-Talin 1 Antibody is added to form the sandwich complex, and detection is achieved with HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution.

Plates are read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm, with Talin 1 concentration calculated by reference to the standard curve. Reported sensitivity is <0.39 ng/ml and the assay range is 1.56-100 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Recovery was reported at 80%-102% (average 91%, n=5) for serum, 81%-100% (average 90%, n=5) for EDTA plasma, and 80%-89% (average 84%, n=5) for heparin plasma. Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 μl), Detection Solution B (120 μl), Wash Buffer 30X (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and 5 adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and should not be used past the expiration date.
