Mouse Synaptosomal Associated Protein 25kDa ELISA Kit

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with colorimetric detection and TMB substrate, read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Manufacturer-reported performance figures include an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, sensitivity of <0.14 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported mean recovery values are 91% for serum (n=5, range 83%–100%), 94% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 90%–98%) and 94% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 90%–99%). The workflow follows standard sandwich ELISA principles: a pre-coated capture antibody specific for SNAP25 binds analyte in standards and samples, a biotinylated anti-SNAP25 detection antibody is then added, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate that yields a yellow product proportional to SNAP25 concentration after acidic stop solution. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
