Mouse Synaptopodin 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, the Mouse Synaptopodin 2 ELISA Kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Synaptopodin 2 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with an antibody specific for Synaptopodin 2 pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Captured Synaptopodin 2 is bound by a Biotinylated Anti-Synaptopodin 2 Antibody and detected using an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the concentration is calculated from the standard curve.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.051 ng/ml and a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery in spiked samples has been demonstrated for serum (range 80–102%, mean 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81–101%, mean 91%), and heparin plasma (range 80–89%, mean 84%). The kit is supplied on a pre-coated microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip format and is intended for research use only.

Kit components include Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, Wash Buffer (30X), Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution, adhesive plate sealers, and lyophilized standard. Reagents should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
