Mouse Survivin ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Survivin in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microtiter plate on which Survivin in standards or test samples is captured by an immobilised antibody, then detected using a Biotinylated Anti-Survivin Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration of Survivin is calculated by referring to the standard curve.

The quantitative assay has a product range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml, a sensitivity of 5.6 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported recovery in spiked samples (n=5) was 90-101% (average 95%) for serum, 91-99% (average 95%) for EDTA plasma and 90-99% (average 94%) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity data for sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (n=5) are also provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

Components supplied include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
