Mouse Sulfite Oxidase ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Sulfite Oxidase in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format with a biotinylated anti-Sulfite Oxidase detection antibody and HRP-avidin, with TMB substrate producing a colourmetric end-point read at 450 nm.

The standard curve spans 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.054 ng/ml, and the full protocol completes in approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery testing returned averages of 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%) across n=5 samples per matrix. Parallelism at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions gave recoveries of 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma (n=5 each).
