Mouse Succinate Dehydrogenase Complex Subunit D ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Succinate Dehydrogenase Complex Subunit D (SDHD) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with an antibody specific for SDHD pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by washing and incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-SDHD Antibody, then an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised using a TMB substrate solution, producing a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of an acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and SDHD concentration is calculated against the standard curve.

The assay offers a sensitivity of <0.066 ng/ml and a measuring range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Detection is colorimetric and intended for use with a colorimetric microplate reader. Reported average recovery values are: Serum 91% (range 80-102%, n=5), EDTA Plasma 90% (range 81-100%, n=5), and Heparin Plasma 84% (range 80-89%, n=5).
