Mouse Succinate Dehydrogenase Complex Subunit A ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse SDHA in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. A capture antibody specific for SDHA is pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, and SDHA present in each sample is bound by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-SDHA Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The absorbance at 450 nm is proportional to the amount of SDHA captured in each well and is used to calculate concentration against the standard curve.

The assay covers a quantitative range of 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.117 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. It is suitable for tissue homogenates, serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
