Mouse STIP1 Homology And U-Box Containing Protein 1 ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Mouse STUB1/CHIP ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse STUB1/CHIP in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for STUB1/CHIP; standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-STUB1/CHIP Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate solution. The enzymatic reaction yields a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quantitative performance characteristics include an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.059 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery testing (n=5) showed averages of 91% (range 80–102%) in serum, 90% (range 81–100%) in EDTA plasma and 84% (range 80–89%) in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions ranged from 87–107% for serum, 79–108% for EDTA plasma and 82–105% for heparin plasma.

Kit components supplied include a pre-coated 12 x 8 well strip microplate, lyophilized standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 μl), Detection Solution B (120 µl), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and plate sealers. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated, and the kit is not to be used past its expiration date.
