Mouse Stem Cell Factor Receptor ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse c-Kit (Stem Cell Factor Receptor) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with an antibody specific for c-Kit immobilised on the wells. Standards and test samples are added, captured c-Kit is bound by a Biotinylated Anti-c-Kit Antibody, and the signal is developed using HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colour reaction is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and c-Kit concentration is calculated against a standard curve.

Sensitivity is stated as <0.063 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported recovery in serum ranges from 80–102% with an average of 91% (n=5), in EDTA plasma from 81–100% with an average of 90% (n=5), and in heparin plasma from 80–89% with an average of 84% (n=5). Dilution linearity has been evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
