Mouse Stanniocalcin 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Stanniocalcin 1 (STC) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated microplate and the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Standards and samples are added to wells coated with a specific capture antibody, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-Stanniocalcin 1/STC Antibody that binds the captured analyte, and then by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Detection is colourimetric, employing TMB substrate solution that produces a blue-coloured product which changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the amount of Stanniocalcin 1/STC captured in each well, and the concentration is calculated by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader against the standard curve.

Validated for mouse reactivity, the kit is intended for serum and plasma samples. The reported assay range is 78.1–5000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <29.3 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components should be stored at +4 °C or –20 °C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.
