Mouse Squamous Cell Carcinoma Antigen 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse SerpinB4/SCCA-2, also referred to as Squamous Cell Carcinoma Antigen 2, in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) bearing an immobilised capture antibody specific for SerpinB4/SCCA-2. After sample addition, a biotinylated anti-SerpinB4/SCCA-2 detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate are applied sequentially; the resulting colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quoted performance specifications are an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, a sensitivity of <0.062 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Sample recovery has been characterised across matrices (n=5 per matrix): serum average 91% (range 80%-102%), EDTA plasma average 90% (range 81%-100%) and heparin plasma average 84% (range 80%-89%). Dilution linearity was also evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in the same three matrices.
