Mouse Splicing Factor 3B Subunit 3 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse SF3B3 (Splicing Factor 3B Subunit 3) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique: an antibody specific for SF3B3 is pre-coated onto a microplate, and after addition of standards or samples, bound SF3B3 is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-SF3B3 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added and the enzymatic reaction is read at 450nm in a colorimetric microplate reader; the absorbance is proportional to SF3B3 concentration and quantified against a standard curve.

The kit offers a sensitivity of <0.056 ng/ml, an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum (n=5, range 80%–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%–89%). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.
