Mouse Spermidine/Spermine N1-Acetyltransferase 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse SAT1 (Spermidine/Spermine N1-Acetyltransferase 1) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for SAT1, with bound protein detected using a Biotinylated Anti-SAT1 Antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with SAT1 concentration calculated from a standard curve. The pre-coated microplate is configured as 12 x 8 well strips, and the assay is completed in 4h 30m.

Reported sensitivity is <0.117 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated on the component labels, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.

Validation data report average recoveries of 91% for serum (range 80% - 102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81% - 100%, n=5), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80% - 89%, n=5). Dilution linearity was also reported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions for each sample matrix, with serum ranges of 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, and 92-97% respectively, EDTA plasma ranges of 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, and 79-108%, and heparin plasma ranges of 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, and 89-91%.
