Mouse Solute Carrier Family 30, Member 5 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse SLC30A5 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, in which an antibody specific for SLC30A5 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells; captured SLC30A5 is detected using a biotinylated anti-SLC30A5 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. The reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue colour that turns yellow after addition of stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The stated assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.108 ng/ml, and total assay time is 4 h 30 min. Reactivity is mouse. Supplier-reported values for serum (n=5) range 80–102% (average 91%), for EDTA plasma (n=5) range 81–101% (average 91%), and for heparin plasma (n=5) range 80–89% (average 84%). Dilution values at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 are also reported for these three matrices.
