Mouse Solute Carrier Family 30 Member 4 ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse ZnT4 (Solute Carrier Family 30 Member 4) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids [S1]. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique: an antibody specific for ZnT4 is pre-coated onto a microplate, standards and samples are added so that ZnT4 is captured by the immobilized antibody, and detection is carried out using a Biotinylated Anti-ZnT4 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate [S1]. A TMB substrate is added; the HRP-catalysed reaction yields a blue product that turns yellow on addition of the acidic stop solution, and the absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader [S1]. The kit is intended for use with mouse samples [C0][S1].

Reported assay performance includes a sensitivity of 0.059 ng/ml, a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, and a total assay time of approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes, with colorimetric detection on a pre-coated microplate [S1]. Validation data for spiked samples showed average recoveries of 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 91% in EDTA plasma (range 81–101%, n=5), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5) [S1]. Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions was reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples [S1].
