Mouse Sirtuin 3 ELISA Kit

Designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse SIRT3, this sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is suited to tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). Captured SIRT3 is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-SIRT3 Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate; TMB substrate is used to visualize the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Sensitivity is reported as <0.055 ng/ml and the assay range spans 0.156-10 ng/ml. The protocol runs in 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Spike-and-recovery performance (n=5) is documented for serum (range 80% - 102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81% - 100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (range 80% - 89%, average 84%). The target protein is SIRT3 and the assay is validated for mouse reactivity.
