Mouse Serum Amyloid A2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Serum Amyloid A2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format with a biotinylated anti-Serum Amyloid A2 detection antibody, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colourmetric reaction is quantified by measuring absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader and referring to the standard curve.

Reported performance characteristics include a measuring range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 6.1 pg/ml. Spike-and-recovery has been demonstrated across serum (average 91% across an 80%–102% range, n=5), EDTA plasma (average 90%, range 81%–100%, n=5) and heparin plasma (average 84%, range 80%–89%, n=5). Dilution linearity data at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 are also reported for these sample types. The total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.
