Mouse Serine Palmitoyltransferase, Long Chain Base Subunit 3 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Serine Palmitoyltransferase, Long Chain Base Subunit 3 (SPTLC3) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate and a biotinylated anti-SPTLC3 detection antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The reported sensitivity is below 0.061 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, and the full protocol takes approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery testing gave values of 80–102% in serum (average 91%, n=5), 81–101% in EDTA plasma (average 91%, n=5), and 80–89% in heparin plasma (average 84%, n=5). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma.
