Mouse Serine/Arginine Rich Splicing Factor 4 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse SFRS4/SRSF4 (Serine/Arginine Rich Splicing Factor 4) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. It is a sandwich (quantitative) assay with colorimetric detection, and the absorbance is read at 450 nm against a standard curve.

The kit has a sensitivity of <0.043 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported recovery for n=5 samples is serum 80%–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81%–100% (average 90%) and heparin plasma 80%–89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was demonstrated for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma sample sets.

In the workflow, an antibody specific for SFRS4/SRSF4 is pre-coated onto the microplate; standards and test samples are added and the captured analyte is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-SFRS4/SRSF4 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with the intensity of the yellow colour proportional to the amount of SFRS4/SRSF4 captured in each well.
