Mouse Semaphorin 7A ELISA Kit

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the quantitative determination of mouse Semaphorin 7A in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. Results are read on a colorimetric microplate reader, with the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm referenced against a standard curve.

Built around a pre-coated microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips, the assay follows a sandwich enzyme immunoassay workflow in which a biotinylated anti-Semaphorin 7A antibody binds the captured analyte. An HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate then generate a yellow colour whose intensity is proportional to Semaphorin 7A concentration. The standard curve spans 0.312–20 ng/ml, sensitivity is reported as <0.108 ng/ml, and the complete protocol takes 4h 30m. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.

Manufacturer validation data report mean recoveries of 91% in serum (range 83–100%, n=5), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 91–101%, n=5) and 96% in heparin plasma (range 91–101%, n=5). Dilution linearity from 1:2 through 1:16 is supported by recovery ranges of 77–110% for serum, 72–109% for EDTA plasma and 82–110% for heparin plasma.
