Mouse Secretory Leukocyte Peptidase Inhibitor ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Mouse Secretory Leukocyte Peptidase Inhibitor (SLPI) ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse SLPI in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. Reactive with mouse samples, the kit uses a pre-coated microplate platform with 12 x 8 well strips and colourmetric detection read at 450 nm. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

The product range is 78.1–5000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <35 pg/ml. Standards and samples are incubated in pre-coated wells, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-SLPI antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is visualised with TMB substrate, which produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the amount of SLPI captured in each well, and concentration is calculated by reading O.D. absorbance at 450 nm against a standard curve.
