Mouse Secretin ELISA Kit

This competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Secretin/SCT in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique, in which Secretin/SCT present in samples or standards competes with pre-coated antigen for binding sites on a Biotinylated Anti-Secretin/SCT Antibody. Detection is achieved using an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a colour change that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quantitative performance is supported by a product range of 23.4–1500 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 9.46 pg/ml, with an assay time of 2 hours 30 minutes on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). Reported recovery values are 80–102% (average 91%, n=5) for serum, 81–100% (average 90%, n=5) for EDTA plasma, and 80–89% (average 84%, n=5) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is reported as 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum (n=5); 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma (n=5).
