Mouse Secreted Frizzled Related Protein 4 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Secreted Frizzled Related Protein 4 (SFRP4) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with an antibody specific for SFRP4 immobilised on the wells. Standards and test samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-SFRP4 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the reaction, producing a blue colour that changes to yellow upon addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit has a stated assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.065 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery in validation studies averaged 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity was also assessed across the same sample types at multiple dilutions. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and should not be used past the expiration date.
