Mouse Secreted Frizzled Related Protein 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Secreted Frizzled Related Protein 2 (SFRP2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip configuration, with a biotinylated anti-SFRP2 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate and read colourmetrically at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer, the kit has a sensitivity of <0.237 ng/ml, a quantitative range of 0.625–40 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery testing (n=5) yielded ranges of 80%–102% in serum (average 91%), 81%–100% in EDTA plasma (average 90%), and 80%–89% in heparin plasma (average 84%). Reported dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or –20 °C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its stated expiration date.
