Mouse Secreted Frizzled Related Protein 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse SFRP1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses an antibody specific for SFRP1 pre-coated onto a microtiter plate. Standards and test samples are added, and SFRP1 present in each sample is bound by the immobilized antibody. After incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-SFRP1 Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; the intensity of the yellow colour is proportional to the amount of SFRP1 captured. Concentration is calculated by reading O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader against the standard curve.

Spike-and-recovery performance is reported across sample matrices. Serum (n=5): range 80%-102%, average 91%. EDTA Plasma (n=5): range 81%-100%, average 90%. Heparin Plasma (n=5): range 80%-89%, average 84%. Linear dilution recovery is reported at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for each of these matrices.
