Mouse S100 Calcium Binding Protein A9 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse S100A9 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with immobilised antibody specific for S100A9. Standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-S100A9 Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate produces a yellow colour whose intensity, read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, is proportional to the S100A9 concentration. The quantitative working range is 78.1-5000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 29 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m, and kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Reported recovery values are an average of 91% for serum (range 80%-102%, n=5), 91% for EDTA plasma (range 81%-101%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, n=5).
