Mouse S100 Calcium Binding Protein A4 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA), supplied by Antibodies.com, is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse S100A4 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips; standards and samples are incubated in coated wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-S100A4 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve spans 31.2–2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 14.2 pg/ml, and the assay is completed in 4 hours 30 minutes. Manufacturer-reported recovery (n=5) is serum 80–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81–101% (average 91%) and heparin plasma 80–89% (average 84%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions (n=5) is reported for serum (87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101%, 92–97%), EDTA plasma (90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101%, 79–108%) and heparin plasma (84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105%, 89–91%). Kit components include pre-coated well strips, lyophilized standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.
