Mouse S100 Calcium Binding Protein A10 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse S100A10 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids, with mouse-specific reactivity. The assay employs a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for S100A10. Standards and samples are added, the target is captured by the immobilised antibody, and a biotinylated anti-S100A10 antibody is applied followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added; catalysis produces a blue product that turns yellow after the acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

The kit is supplied on a pre-coated microplate platform arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes and colourimetric end-point detection. The reported product range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.113 ng/ml.

Validated recovery data is provided for serum (n=5, range 83%–100%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, 90%–98%, 94%) and heparin plasma (n=5, 89%–102%, 95%). Linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is reported for each matrix, for example serum at 83–110%, 79–100%, 90–98% and 82–108%. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed in the protocol and not used past the expiration date.
