Mouse Replication Initiator 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com intended for the quantitative determination of mouse REPIN1 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where REPIN1 is captured by an immobilised antibody. Following incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-REPIN1 Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. REPIN1 concentration is then calculated by reference to a standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is <0.135 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Average recovery values from spiked samples were reported as 91% for serum (n=5, range 80%-102%), 91% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%-101%), and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%-89%). Dilution linearity was also evaluated across multiple dilutions for each sample type.
