Mouse Renin ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Renin in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an immobilised antibody specific for Renin, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-Renin antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, and the colour density is proportional to Renin concentration via a standard curve.

Reported performance figures from the manufacturer include a sensitivity of <35.6 pg/ml and an assay range of 78.1–5000 pg/ml. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.
