Mouse Relaxin ELISA Kit

This competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Relaxin in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and employs a competitive enzyme immunoassay technique, in which Relaxin present in samples or standards competes with immobilised antigen for binding sites on a biotinylated anti-Relaxin antibody. Following incubation and washing, an HRP-avidin conjugate is added and visualised using a TMB substrate solution that produces a colour change measured at 450 nm; the intensity of colour is inversely proportional to the amount of Relaxin present in each sample or standard.

The assay has a sensitivity of 8.86 pg/ml, a product range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml, and a total assay time of 2h 30m. Reported recovery spans serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples, with dilution linearity data provided for dilutions from 1:2 through 1:16.
