From Antibodies.com, this Mouse RANTES ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse RANTES in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. RANTES stands for Regulated on Activation, Normal T-cell Expressed and Secreted, and the assay is specific for mouse reactivity.

The kit employs a sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. The intensity of yellow, read as absorbance at 450nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, is proportional to the amount of RANTES captured, and the concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve.
