Mouse Pyruvate Kinase, Liver And RBC ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse pyruvate kinase, liver and RBC (PKLR) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a colourimetric readout read at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader. Standards and samples are incubated with a biotinylated anti-PKLR detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate is used to generate a signal proportional to PKLR concentration. The standard curve covers a range of 1.56–100 U/L, with a stated sensitivity of <1 U/L, and the complete assay time is 4h 30m.

The kit is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and cell culture supernates, with reported recovery of 80–102% in serum (average 91%), 81–99% in EDTA plasma (average 90%) and 80–89% in heparin plasma (average 84%) across dilution factors from 1:2 to 1:16. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
