Mouse Pyruvate Carboxylase ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse PCB in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with detection performed on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

Assay principle involves a biotinylated anti-PCB detection antibody paired with an HRP-avidin conjugate, with signal generated by TMB substrate and read after addition of an acidic stop solution. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. The manufacturer reports a sensitivity of <0.117 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml.

Recovery validation across n=5 samples gave average values of 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–99%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilutional linearity data at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions are also provided in the manufacturer's documentation.
